The under-16s travelled to Orsett on Sunday for their final league match of the season, sitting top of the league and hoping to advance to the Regional Final. Unfortunately, the performance on the day did not meet expectations, with a heavy loss to BB&O followed by a draw with Essex.
However, the future looks bright for the team, with five of the eight players eligible to compete in this age group next year, including three who can continue at this level for several more years.
I would like to thank all the boys who have represented the under-16s this year, whether in league fixtures or friendly matches. The team spirit and camaraderie have been excellent, and I am confident your golf will continue to go from strength to strength.
