Hertfordshire were extremely well represented at the recent Home International series of matches, for Men/Women & Boys/Girls, with 3 Herts based players named within the squads.Â
Max Hopkins of Bishop’s Stortford featured in the Men’s team of 10, Sophia Fullbrook of Brocket Hall in the Womens team of 10 and Ben Sessions of Bishop’s Stortford in the Boys team.Â
The Men’s & Womens matches were played at the Woodbrook in Ireland and the Boys & Girls was played at Monifieth in Scotland.Â
The Men’s team won the individual title, with Max contributing an impressive 4.5 points out of 6. The Womens team also won their individual title with Sophia Fullbrook remaining unbeaten throughout winning 5 of her 6 matches. Ben Sessions was a star performer in the winning Boys team, winning 5 of his 6 matches.Â
Ben also had the honour of being selected for the England Boys team playing in the European Golf Team Championship in Spain last month, where England Boys won the Silver medal.Â
