Bishop’s Stortford win England Golf Women’s Champion Club Final

Congratulations to the Bishop’s Stortford team of Harriet Buchan, Jackie Foster & Haley Yerxa who recently won the England Golf Women’s Champion Club Final event, played at City of Newcastle Golf Club over the weekend of 30th & 31st August. 

The Stortford team qualified through to this National Final with their winning performance at the Hertfordshire County Championship at Berkhamsted back in May, where they won the aggregate team prize in the Women’s strokeplay qualifying rounds, therefore winning the County Womens Champion Club title. 

The team now progress further to represent England and play in the Ladies European Club Team Trophy event, to be played in Slovakia next month.
