Report from County Senior Womens Manager Lindsay Murray-Gray:
The Herts Senior Women have now played one fixture in each of the two regions they play in, both at home at East Herts GC.
Early in the season, 13th April, the team played Oxon in the Berks, Bucks, Herts, Hants & Oxon (BBHH&O) Region. It was an extremely windy day and controlling the flight of the ball was tricky. Despite this, the team dug in and achieved a very impressive 7- 0 victory.
On Wednesday 6th May the team faced Cambs & Hunts in the East Region league. Fired up and ready to defend the title they won last year, they were wrapped up to mitigate the unseasonably cold weather which seemed completely counter intuitive to the fast dry conditions. Another strong performance saw the team win 4 ½ – 1 ½
