One of our most decorated golfers has added another title recently when Jackie Foster of Bishop’s Stortford was awarded the England Golf Senior Women’s Order of Merit for 2024 for her fine perfomances in qualifying events played across the season.
Highlight of her season was her terrific victory in the EG Senior Women’s Amateur back in May 2024, but followed that up with other fine finishes elsewhere, most notably the runners up spot at the R&A Senior Women’s Amateur Championship, narrowly missing out on retaining her crown she won in 2023.
Congratulations to Jackie on a fantastic 2024 season.
Elsewhere former Herts based golfer Dominic Clemons picked up the Men’s Order of Merit for 2024, aided by his runners up finish at the R&A Amatuer Championship in Ireland. Dominic was a former junior member at both Bishop’s Stortford and Hanbury Manor.
