Hertfordshire Golf Office Administrator – We are hiring

HERTFORDSHIRE GOLF – PART TIME OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Opportunity to work in the small friendly office for the county golf organisation. Salary up to £15,900 per annum, plus workplace pension (contributory), working 2 days (16 hours per week) based at the Hertfordshire Golf Office at Knebworth Golf Club. The Office Administrator will be a part time employee of Hertfordshire Golf Limited, responsible to the County Secretary.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

  • Administrative and banking support for all HG activity
  • Check invoices received and arrange payment of invoices and expenses
  • Processing of receipts and payments in the accounting system
  • Support the County Secretary, Assistant County Secretary, Chair of the Board of Directors and Finance Director as required
  • Manage the provisions of the office; including word processing, excel spreadsheet management, email and telephone communications, copying and printing, stationery and post, filing, supplies and a weekly back up of all office systems
  • General administrative tasks on HG Championships and events, including recording entry payments

 

PERSONAL DESCRIPTION (KEY SKILLS):

  • IT and financially literate
  • Experienced Bookkeeper
  • Strong organisational abilities with an attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter able to work under their own motivation with a flexible approach and attitude
  • Knowledge of golf and golf clubs preferred but not essential
