Allen & Pierleoni continue to fly the flag for Herts Golf at Sunningdale

 

BEN PIERLEONI COLLECTING THE COLTS CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY IN JUNE 2018

The Hertfordshire Golf pairing of Professional and County Boys Coach Laurence Allen of Verulam and Boys Junior Challenge Trophy winner 2018 Ben Pierleoni of Berkhamsted, are currently still vying for the much coveted Sunngindale Foursomes event.

The pair have already won through 4 rounds of matchplay and as of Thursday afternoon are playing in a quarter final match up against Joe Sullivan & Louis Hirst. 

The biggest scalp so far for the Herts pair has to be the victory over Ryder Cup player Andy Sullivan and his partner Fred Jewsbury on Wednesday on the 18th 1up.

Earlier in the day Men’s 1st Team Captain and Vice Captain, Alex Collman and Tony Wilkins, both of Harpenden Common, finally bowed out in the Round of 16, eventually losing to Philip Ridden and A J Dixon 5&4
