Girls East Region County Match Week gets under way this Wednesday through to Friday.
This year is Suffolk’s turn to host and girls from across the 6 counties of Herts, Beds, Cambs/Hunts, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk will take each other on at Fynn Valley Golf Club near Ipswich.
Each county plays the other 5 counties in a round robin format. Each match comprising of x6 singles scratch matchplay matches.
This year, Hertfordshire’s 8 girls squad is made up of the following-
Caitlin Gerrard – The Hertfordshire (Capt)
Ava Gadsby – East Herts
Amelie Stewart – Brocket Hall
Amelia Parker – Letchworth
Lily Hertz – Essendon
Alecia Ibekwem – Sandy Lodge
Lily Wrangle – Mid Herts
Abigail Fleming – Bishop’s Stortford
