Sophia Fullbrook Selected For GB&I In Upcoming 44th Curtis Cup Against U.S.

Brocket Hall's Sophia has had an amazing 2026 at college in US, securing her prestigious selection

Sophia Fullbrook of Brocket Hall has been selected as part of the 7 women GB&I team for the upcoming 44th playing of The Curtis Cup, to be held at Bel-Air CC, Los Angeles, California.

Sophia has had an amzing start to her 2026 season. In her 2nd year at college in the US, Sophia attends Florida State, one of the highest ranked colleges in US Golf and most recently notable as the college Lottie Woad attended.

Sophia has recently won two individual collegiate championships, defeating the highest class field of female amateurs there are.

This adds to an amazing cv which now includes

  • Winner of the 2026 Florida State Match-Up, Coach Mo Classic and NCAA Tallahassee Regional (all USA)
  • Top-10 finish at 2026 Collegiate Invitational and Darius Rucker Intercollegiate (both USA)
  • Shot the course record at Frankfurter Golf Club (65, -8) before going on to finish tied-11th in the 2025 European Amateur Ladies’ Championship
  • Part of England team which won the 2025 Women’s & Men’s Home Internationals 
  • Top-10 finishes at 2025 Folds of Honor Collegiate and Jim West Challenge (both USA)
  • Alongside Lottie Woad, reached the match play semi-finals at the 2025 NCAA D1 Women’s Championship (USA) with their Florida State University team 
  • Helped GB&I win the 2025 Vagliano Trophy against Europe
