Max Hopkins & George Durkan, both of Bishop’s Stortford GC, recently made the long trip up to the North East of England to play in the North of England Mens Open Championship event, played on the links course at Seaton Carew Golf Club, located near Hartlepool.Â
Both performed well finishing inside the top 10, but combining their scores they managed to win the County Plate for Hertfordshire.Â
Max finished in 6th with a 4 round total of 281 (-3) and George finished in 8th a shot behind on 282 (-2).Â
