Report from Senior Womens Manager Lindsay Murray-Gray:Â
The Herts Senior Women played their penultimate match of the season at East Herts on Thursday 2nd October. It’s always a tight fixture with this opposition however, as we were able to field our strongest team of the season, hopes were high for a win.
They did not let us down and the result was a convincing win 5 -1. This creates the possibility of a league win if they can overcome Cambs & Hunts at Gog Magog on 17th October and Suffolk do not win their last two matches. If they do, the games won totals will decide the result.
This was Sarah Marley from Essendon’s first time out for the squad and we hope she will become a regular player. Thanks also to Alison Franklin (Harpenden), Charlie Doyle (Berkhamsted), Sandra Moses (Knebworth), Holly Lovell (Centurion) for playing.
Keep everything crossed on the 17th!
