East Region County Match Days – Wensum Valley, Norfolk

Monday 3rd July

Herts would narrowly lose session 1 of the 2023 CMD event, going down 3-2 to hosts Norfolk. Emmanuelle Hewson in the singles and Jackie Foster/Darcie West in the foursomes would provide the points for Herts. 

Despite a suspension in play mid way through for the threat of lightening in the area, Herts would however win session 2 in the afternoon of Day 1 with a convincing 4-1 victory over Cambs & Hunts.Wins from Maddie Rolph & Emmanuelle Hewson in the singles and Mawgan Vater/Micaela Du Plessis & Jackie Foster/Tala Clarke in the foursomes.

Day 2 sees Herts take on Bedfordshire in the morning session and Essex in the afternoon session.
