Introducing the County Card The County Card offers discounted green fees at more than 1,300 participating golf clubs across the country to men and women who are members of a club affiliated to Hertfordshire Golf.

There is no fee for the use of the County Card, it is a benefit of affiliation to the County.

The County Card offers discounted green fees at more than 1,300 participating golf clubs across the country to men and women who are members of a club affiliated to Hertfordshire Golf. There is no fee for the use of the County Card, it is a benefit of affiliation to the County.

The cardholder is entitled to receive reduced green fees at host participating clubs. The discount rate may vary from club to club, but normally you are charged around the cost of the the members guest green fee when playing at participating courses.

Please note that the only English County not involved with the scheme is Suffolk. 

how to apply / obtain a card

Your County Card is now obtained via the Golf Genius APP

Please see below for the instructions on how to obtain your County Card. It is still free of charge. It is available for any affiliated member of a Hertfordshire Golf Club registered with WHS. For a list of participating Clubs please scroll down this page.

The County Card provides the opportunity to play more than 1300 golf clubs who offer special rates throughout the country. 

Please follow the instructions below:

You will need to be registered with Hertfordshire Golf – Golf Genius to enter get your County Card.

To download the App from the Apple Store or Google Play Store

From your mobile phone

 Click here to download for apple devices or Click here to download for Android devices

Or you can search for  Golf Genius and download free of charge.

  • Click on the three black lines in the top left hand corner.
  • From the list now displayed now click on County Card.
  • Click add to cart. If you are not eligible a message will be displayed.
  • Scroll down the screen and click continue which will take you to your checkout. Please remember the card is free of charge.
  • Click finish. 
  • Your County Card will now appear when you click on the black down arrow.

Note: If you do not know your CDH number, refer to the FAQ section.

Your County Card will now be installed in the App. 

Regulations

The Card MUST be produced as proof of identity BY EACH PLAYER to obtain this concession. Cardholders may generally play at least once per year at any of the Host Clubs on the list (some clubs may allow more than one visit). Restrictions on time and day of the week may apply. The Card may generally only be used for groups of up to 4 players, and not be used in connection with larger groups or societies.

FAQ’s County Card App

Q. I do not know my WHS/CDH number? 

A. If your home club uses Intelligent Golf then you will be able to find your WHS/CDH number in the IGMember App or
on the website via the MY Golf section. Other member websites may well hold that information in your player
record. Otherwise contact your Club Secretary or Handicap Secretary, who will be able to supply you with this
information.

Q. The County Card on
my app is showing as expired? 

A. Refresh the app on your device, a valid card with a new expiry date will now appear.

Q. When I try to download my County Card the app says that it cannot find my home club.
