Cooke & Strous make it 3 in a row at South Beds
Nearly a clean sweep for Hertfordshire at the East of England Foursomes held at South Beds GC on Thursday 29th April 2023
34 pairs took part in the East of England Foursomes was held at South Beds Golf Club yesterday. The second round was especially challenging as the weather turned and the rain came.
Esther Strous and Kelly Cooke from Welwyn Garden City came out on top for the third year running to take the gross prize on a score of 164, closely followed by Riya Chandaria and Sarah Marley from Essendon County Club who finished just one shot behind on 165.
The nett victors were Kerry Enever and Sarah Gotts from Diss won with a gross 141 with Aly Nedza from Welwyn Garden City and Julie Nedza from Hadley Wood on 148 and Elaine Meagher and Linda Reeve from Aldwickbury Park on 149.
