East Region Junior Team Trophy Bury St. Edmunds
Each County had a team comprising of 1 player handicap index plus to 9, 2 players with handicap index 10 – 15, 2 players with handicap index 16 – 24 and
1 player with handicap index 25 – 30
This was a stableford competition with the best four scores from six to determine the winning County.
Our girls all played very well with everyone’s stableford scores in the 30s and finished in a very respectable third position. The results were:-
Cambs and Hunts 154
Norfolk 148
Hertfordshire 145
Suffolk 139
Essex 135
Congratulations to Cambs and Hunts, but also to our team who were all representing their County in this competition for the first time and had a very enjoyable day.
