Calling all Hertfordshire Ladies’ Captains & Vice Captains!
There are many clubs in the County not represented in the Hertfordshire Lady Golf Captains Society and we are keen for those clubs to join us. For current Ladies’ Captains and their Vice Captains, why not join us free of charge for your first year and come along to one (or all if you have time?) of our meetings?
We also welcome Ladies’ Captains who may have moved on from their club of captaincy or have even left the County. Just because you have moved does not mean you should lose touch with the Society.
HLGCS started in 1972 by Ladies’ Captains of 25 clubs across the County with the intention of mirroring the men’s Society of Hertfordshire Golf Captains. Our membership has fluctuated over the years having reached its zenith in 2016 with nearly 500 members. Currently we are hovering around 280 members so we are keen to encourage more of you to join us.
We are a friendly bunch and have Spring, Summer and Autumn meetings, friendly matches against other Counties plus an Away break and an annual Bridge drive.
